Treatments for Endometriosis

Hormone Therapy

For many woman, hormone therapy is sufficient to put an end to the internal bleeding and pelvic pain caused by endometriosis. Dr. Rees can prescribe medications that reduce the amount of estrogen your body produces – for lighter periods and less menstrual bleeding. Other hormonal therapies can even stop periods entirely.

Dr. Rees may prescribe contraceptives that contain estrogen and progestin, including: birth control pills, patches, or rings – or progestin-only contraceptives such as birth control pills, shots, and IUDs which eliminate menstrual periods completely. Endometrial Ablation

Dr. Rees offers minimally invasive saline endometrial ablation.
